CV Show rundown with the SCW sales team
The Commercial Vehicle Show takes place annually at the NEC in Birmingham and it gives us the chance to showcase our new conversions, catch up with clients and suppliers, introduce ourselves to new faces and to see what innovative ideas the industry had to offer.
This year, we were lucky enough to bring along our 12,000th minibus conversion, converted for Treloar School and College, which got lots of attraction!
Our sales team were on hand across the three days and had a fantastic time exhibiting Treloar’s head-turning vehicle. Here’s what they had to say…
Jess & Lee - 'We had a great time at the 2022 CV Show! It was good to catch up with clients and suppliers that we haven’t seen in person for a very long time. The Treloar’s minibus went down brilliantly too and we had lots of interest in our conversions. There was a good atmosphere at this show and it was significantly busier than last year, we had a walk around and saw some great new products too!’
Mike - ‘This is probably the 22nd show that I have attended and it was great because I had the chance to catch up with old colleagues that I have not seen for a few years. The Treloar’s 4x4 Transit attracted a lot of interest and definitely outshone other vehicles on display! The reaction to the design and obvious quality of the build attracted lots of attention and some very flattering comments as to how nice the minibus was finished.’
Paul - ‘The CV Show this year was a vast improvement on the last show. We shared Webasto’s stand with only one other converter which was a huge benefit to us as it felt like we had out own stand! We were displaying the very latest Ford Transit 350 L3H3 Trail minibus and there was a very strong presence of Ford in general in hall 5, so it was great for us to showcase our new product. Overall our fantastic conversion for Treloar’s was well received, allowing us to show clients the high level of conversions that we produce at SCW. I’m really looking forward to returning to Birmingham for our next show!’
Nigel - ‘This is my second show exhibiting for Stanfords and once again I had a fantastic time with the team. There was a great feel to the show and we met with lots of new clients. Everyone had incredibly positive feedback to give about our conversion, making it a successful outing for Stanfords! I also enjoyed taking a look around at some of the other stands, in particular the new products on display at Ford and Maxus.’
Our 12,000th minibus conversion at the CV Show
We are excited to announce that our 12,000th Stanfords minibus, converted for Treloar’s, has finally be delivered to the school and college.
Treloar’s new vehicle is based on a bespoke 4x4 Ford Transit but due to the pandemic and worldwide base vehicle shortages, it’s been an incredibly long wait for them! The students and staff members at Treloar’s have been so excited to see the finished minibus making handover day even more memorable for them.
We’re so honoured to have been given the opportunity to convert our 12,000th minibus for Treloar School and College as we have built a fantastic relationship with them over the years. We were even lucky enough to showcase their magnificent new vehicle at the 2022 Commercial Vehicle Show and we would like to say a huge thank you to Treloar’s for this. Treloar’s premium wheelchair accessible vehicle is based on a L3H3 Ford Transit AWD and features a premium diamond-stitch interior with custom embroidered headrests to match their branding.
