In this month’s edition…
SCW team up with premier private ambulance and event medical providers
At Stanford Coachworks our medical service vehicles are converted to suit each individual client and are designed to meet the most demanding of medical emergencies. Our bespoke conversion process caught the attention of our latest client who was after a new PTS ambulance to join their growing fleet.
Team Medic is a specialist private ambulance organisation who pride themselves on being the UK’s premier private ambulance and event medical provider. They supply a diverse range of services to a variety of different clients including patient transfer, event first aid and even first aid training.
The family business, formed in 2011, saw a gap in the market for effective and competent medical cover within the British American football scene, so decided to create Team Medic. Soon after, Team Medic went from strength to strength and have expanded into now offering cover to a range of national events such as sporting, community events, tv / movie shoots, corporate and school festivals. In 2017, Team Medic registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which enabled them to undertake non-emergency patient transfers and frontline emergency service work on behalf of the NHS. Their new Stanfords vehicle will join their fleet to further help provide these services.
We would like to say thank you to Team Medic for choosing us to carry out their PTS ambulance conversion. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them throughout the process and we hope that their new Renault Master can help contribute towards taking care of their clients.

More about the Maxus!
with the Stanfords sales team.
Our Maxus eDeliver 9 is now available for demonstrations! Here’s some of the fantastic feedback that the team have received in response to the launch so far.
Being a whole new venture for us, I wasn’t too sure what to expect from the Maxus eDeliver 9, I just knew that whatever Stanfords did would be to the highest quality and safety standards. After seeing the completed conversion, I knew that the team had once again pulled it off and couldn’t wait to travel on it! The vehicle drives fantastically compared to some other electric vehicles that I have tried, and I can’t wait to begin introducing it to my clients. One of my long-term customers has already placed an order!
- Mike Gasper, Sales Director
I have had the opportunity to demonstrate the vehicle to a number of different clients and I have received a fantastic response from everyone. Many clients commented that they thought the interior of the vehicle would look a lot different to our standard conventional fuel-powered vehicles but, were in fact, pleasantly surprised at how premium it looks. No matter the vehicle, Stanfords never lack on quality and safety. We worked hard to gain the M1 and M2 brake approval on the Maxus eDeliver 9 but with safety at the forefront of our conversions, we wouldn’t have it any other way!
- Paul Dedman, Corporate Sales Manager
I was not disappointed when I saw the vehicle for the first time. As ever our conversion was spot on and it looked fantastic. During demonstrations, customers were super impressed with the way that the OEM cab air conditioning and heating is ducted through into to the rear saloon.
The base vehicle itself is great, is responsive on the accelerator and very easy to manoeuvre. Reverse parking is easy as the cab has a large touchscreen linked to the rear view camera. The controls all fall easily to hand and the dashboard is neat and tidy (it doesn’t have that old plastic look!). I am very enthusiastic about the Maxus eDeliver 9 and I can not wait to get it in front of more customers.
- Nigel Povey, Sales Executive
