The Myriad Centre’s Mercedes Minibuses

This week Stanford Coachworks’ Nigel Povey was thrilled to take a trip to Worcestershire to deliver two brand-new Mercedes Sprinters to The Myriad Centre.

Each new minibus is based on the L4H2 Mercedes Sprinter and can transport up to 16 passengers or 6 wheelchairs with seats removed. Both vehicles feature our Flat Floor design with front entry, an underfloor tail lift, passenger heating and air conditioning, and wipe clean seating.

The Myriad Centre

The Myriad Centre is a specialist day centre and a registered charity which provides holistic, person-centred care for adults over the age of 18 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). The centre provides a variety of purposeful and inclusive activities including physiotherapy, music and art therapy, and hydrotherapy along with a programme of fun days out.

The Myriad Centre’s two new minibuses will be used to support the charity’s activity programmes which are essential for learning new skills and building confidence. Some of their fun days out include visits to the theatre, animal therapy, trips along the Severn River and more! With each vehicle fully wheelchair accessible, the new minibuses will ensure that everyone is able to access these fantastic activities.
