Wheelchair Accessible Conversions: The Volkswagen Crafter

Looking for a new wheelchair accessible vehicle to support your organisation? Take a look at our latest two conversions, based on the Volkswagen Crafter.

Both L2H2 Volkswagen Crafters can transport up to six seated passengers plus driver, or two wheelchairs with seats removed in the rear. To help assist all passengers on board, we have installed an internal tail lift along with our exclusive fold-out low-entry side step.

For passenger seating, our customers have opted for our new Eclipse stitch design in blue to match their brand colours. Each seat is upholstered in a breathable fabric which is incredibly easy to clean. This, paired with wood-effect flooring and custom stitched feature panels, give the vehicle that premium look which we pride ourselves on.

The two new Volkswagen Crafters have been converted for one of our returning community transport customers who are based in the East of England. These vehicles will join 14 others in supporting the community’s accessible transport scheme. The scheme aims to provide local residents, with limited mobility, the opportunity to remain independent and involved within the community. With a variety of vehicles on offer, the community transport’s services are available to a vast number of residents including those requiring transport to specialist educational needs schools and colleges, day centres, medical appointments, shops and more.
